GRAPES: 100% Merlot
VINIFICATION: Separated vine by vine fermentation. Maceration on the skins takes place during fermentation and lasts approximately 20 days, together with frequent pumping over. Temperature controlled (28-29°). During fermentation encourages good colour and tannins while maintaining the rich fruit aromas characteristics of the grapes.
AGEING: 50 % of the Merlot is aged eight months in oak barrel to give a proper structure, then 6 months in bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Deep dark-red in colour. Perfumes of fresh red fruit and vegetable notes. The wine is lively and fresh in the mouth, with a full body.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Delicious with almost all kinds of red meat dishes. Perfect with steak. Serve at 18° C.
