GRAPES: Sangiovese (100%) The vineyard is 50 years old. We produce this selection only with the right climate conditions.
VINIFICATION: Three days of cold Maceration on the skins takes place during fermentation and lasts approximately 25 days, together with frequent, gentle pumping over. Temperature controlled at 28°C . During fermentation encourages good colour and supple tannins while maintaining the rich fruit aromas characteristic of both grape varieties.
AGEING: After 14 months in 2,25 he. barrique, the wine is racked into bottle where it remains for a further 6 months before release.
TASTING NOTES: The wine is ruby-red with a garnet reflex. Perfumes remaind ripe red fruit and spices notes of ribes and vanilla. The taste is a full body wine with a long persistence.
